eHealth lab is proud to announce the successful testing of the eHealth4U solution in the International Patient Summary (IPS) track at the HL7 FHIR Connectathon 32. The event took place in the Henderson of Nevada (USA) during the 14th and 15th of January in 2023.
Cyprus, through the participation of the eHealth Lab of the Department of Computer Science and the Biomedical Engineering Research Centre of the University of Cyprus, joined forces with other countries and initiatives to collaboratively advance the IPS and FHIR specifications!
The whole experience was a pleasure and productivity boost including:
- Testing and validating our solution by exchanging the IPS document with other countries
- Discussions with other IPS implementers and FHIR/HAPI server experts
- Fixing profiles
- Development of the IPS implementation directly in HapiFhir
Our solution was officially certified by the HL7 for allowing the successful exchange of the International Patient Summary of a patient with foreign eHealth systems.
Looking forward to our next FHIR and IHE Connectathon participations to strengthen furthermore our proposal towards establishing an interoperable Digital Health Data Space in Cyprus!
