Minas Karaolis

Received a Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from the department of Computer Science, University of Cyprus. Worked for four years as an assistant at the Computer Science Department of the University of Cyprus, Cyprus. Received a Diploma (Masters’ equivalent) in Computer Science from the Technical University Carolo Wilhelmina Braunschweig, Braunschweig, Germany. Worked for five years as an assistant in the Computer Science Department of the Technical University Carolo Wilhelmina Braunschweig, Braunschweig, Germany. Developed the automatic generation of loop plans for industrial buildings under the Preussag company in Germany, using software engineering and databases. Worked for five years as a teacher of computers for the special education programs of the Cyprus Ministry of Education. Worked in the department of Information Technology, Bank of Cyprus, as Programmer-Analyst. Worked in technical support and training for Prisma Computers Ltd. Worked in technical support and Microsoft training for AKTINA. Current research interests include data mining applications and development of algorithms in medical diagnostic systems.
